He once trained as a radio and television technician. Today he is a partner, authorised signatory, team leader and tax consultant at CT Lloyd – Guido Hochhaus. A tennis friend introduced him to the subject of taxes in 1996 and he began his training. He loves his job because it is such a varied profession.
He discovers something new every day in the variety of his job. Openness is therefore essential for him. He values this both professionally and in his private life. One of the ways he expresses this is with his “strawberry basket”, a Golf 1 cabriolet. He looks after and maintains the classic car. He couldn’t go into anything half-heartedly. That’s why he gets fully involved in every annual financial statement, every execution of a will, every concern of a team member…
Guido Hochhaus has a ritual to keep him centred: when he gets home, he switches off his mobile phone – and his head – for 15 minutes. He takes a deep breath and then looks forward to family time. For him, it’s like this: “I come home with a smile… and to work with one too.”
